It was such a beautiful night. The moon shone bright in all her glory and Nymphadora loved the beauty of the glowing orb. It was rooted inside of her, a deep love for such a glowing orb. It had been many moons since she had been turned. Her mind slowly coming to back to where she had been before she was turned, this time her entire childhood had been better, mostly. Her sire was great to her. A smart man with a love for books. She adored him beyond all others. Of course there was her gammy, Drusilla, her opa, Seth, and her many aunts and uncles she cared for. This time she actually had people to care about. Of course there is always something that isn’t grand about unlife and Nymphy’s made her very sad.
She didn’t have friends. Not really. She had lance, for a while, but he left her to be on her own. Disappearing into the night like she didn’t much matter. Not that she was surprised, he was busy a lot before they got to know each other, and he would of course be busy afterwards. She just didn’t think he would leave all together, but sometimes things had to be and this was one of them. She had gotten to know Zander, he was nice, but he was her uncle and that wasn’t allowed by gammy. All of this left her very lonely on a nightly basis. She needed a friend, one to play games and hang out with. Yet she was stuck. It was as if no one in this cursed city would even acknowledge her existence.
Her mind wandered a bit further along this path of lonely thoughts and feelings as she walked towards the Ixora Estate. She did so love it there, the smell of the flowers was amazing. Another thought passed through her mind then, as she passed the next couple blocks, of how she was no longer a Lomax. Not really. And that was all she had really known. Since she came to the city she had been Nymphadora Frost-Lomax. Of course with Dru no longer married to Seth she was no longer their relation. Maybe by spirit, but not by blood. And blood was a lot easier to see then spirit. She had to push the thoughts from her mind. It wasn’t going to help her out of this depressed state.
She could smell the flowers now, they were so close. She continued towards the gardens, noticing the roses and things as she made her way around the estate, Liski’s home was quite lovely.

Blood, Zoe thought to herself as she squatted in the pretty garden, surrounded by row upon row of Ixora plants. A slow smile crept across her face, disturbing her otherwise serene features. There are so many, surely they wouldn't miss one small flower... and it would look amazing braided in my hair. That decided, she picked one of the smallest flowers, careful not to disturb any of the rest, or even make it look as if one was missing, and wove it lightly in her hair as she stood up, brushing dirt from her tights.
Looking around, the slender, ghost-like girl started back down the path that had brought her to this garden, hoping to be able to sneak away before anyone noticed her. Dancing lightly from shadow to shadow, the only sound of her passing the nearly inaudible swish of her skirt around her legs as she moved, Zoe skirted the light as best she could, lest the glint of any of her numerous piercings flash and give away her position. Almost to the exit..

She was so close she could almost taste the essence of the flowers. Still she moved quickly, stealth wasn’t ever her strong suit, but she could hear someone close. Those her eyes had yet to pick up on anyone around her ears could her a twig snap miles away. She took a step and heard a swish. It wasn’t from her however and she stopped in her tracks. It could be an animal, but it didn’t smell like animal. In fact it sounded like a freshly blooded vampire. She let her lips purse before she spoke, an almost commanding presence usually unknown to her coming forth. “Come out come out where ever you are little one. I will do you no harm.”
Again she started to move forward, but this time it was towards the sound she had heard. It was easy to see her then. She was cute in her own way, not unlike Nymphadora herself. A vaguely similar style though this one seemed to have a fascination with the color purple, and what do you know, an Ixora. It was not typically in her manor to be so righteous, though she was a naturally good natured vampiress, but the smell of some sort of deceit was plastered to this one. “And whom, exactly, are you? I bet Liski would love to know your taking her flowers without payment.”

Oh, shit, was Zoe's first thought when she heard the soft voice calling to her in the night. I've been spotted. Freezing in a shadow, Zoe eyed the vampire-for what else could she be in this city?-approaching her, adopting the casual, bored look she was so used to from her past life... what she could remember of it, anyway. The look that gave away nothing, yet let her observe and process information, such as surroundings and such, with near impunity.
The first thing Zoe noticed about the girl was that the newcomer was of a height with her - Zoe was able to look directly into her eyes, not needing to look up as she normally did with most adults. At 22, Zoe had long since given up hope of growing any more, but that was fine with her... as long as she wasn't being teased about it. Although, she mused, when that did happen, she very much enjoyed showing people what the advantages were to being barely over 5'.
The newcomer spoke, tearing Zoe from her musings, though she was careful to keep her face a mask. "If you want my name, then give me yours first. As for this flower, if the garden I came from is the property of this Liski person, he or she has enough that they won't miss one small bud."
A small glint came to her eye then, as she continued, taking a chance that the newcomer was a free spirit such as herself. "More to the point, I'm not going to tell Liski... and somehow I can't see you telling Liski... She'd probably think you gave it to me, as it's obvious the garden is where you're headed, and she knows you far better than she knows me. So, if I'm not going to tell her, and you're not gonna tell her... how is she going to find out?" Grinning, she smoothed out a nonexistent wrinkle in her purple skirt. "Or is it that you want one for yourself?"

It was obvious this other girl had spunk. Nymphadora took her in, sizing her up as she spoke. Obviously this girl was a firecracker. Maybe she didn’t have red hair, but that spunk was still there. She quirked a brow as this one spoke and moved to step closer, glaring into this woman’s eyes. “If you are so curious, my name is Nymphadora, and that doesn’t stand for some sort of Nymphomaniac, just to be clear. Now it’s your turn, young one, to tell me your name. I am a non-violent vampiress by nature and I’d like to keep it that way.” She moved her hand to her long pink locks and flicked them over her shoulder, not bothering to wait for the girl to respond.
“Well you see, when I pick my Ixora Clusters, I pay for them. Five hundred and fifty coins is not so hard to come by, at least for me. Granted, I can be quite a good thief, when I want to be. But maybe we can make a trade, I won’t tell Liski if you can shove your attitude in a box and play a game with me. You seem of the age to still want to do such, much like myself.” A wide grin slid over her features and she placed her hands on her hips, watching this purple haired Jezebel.

The smallish Japanese girl popped a piece of gum in her mouth, her hands returning to her hips, a bored look on her face as she listened to Nymphy. Zoe had been pale when she was alive; now her skin was nearly as white as snow... between meals, anyway. Casually, she mirrored Nymphy's hair flip with one of her own before sighing heavily and twisting her long hair into a loose braid that hung down her back. "I'm Zoe, Zoe Gartham.. though that name holds little meaning for me anymore. Like you, I am not keen on violence. Bloodstains are a bitch to get out of clothing."
She smiled then, stepping forward into the light, her numerous piercings reflecting in the glow. Despite the slight chill in the air, she was dressed in a black tank that barely came to her midriff and a purple skirt, black stockings completing the ensemble. Zoe offered her hand to Nymphy, surprising herself as she did so, not used to making friendly overtures quite so quickly, or quite so blatantly.
"I mean no offense to this Liski person, but she seems like a con artist, if she charges 550 gold for each flower. I could buy a flower shop and stock it myself for not much more than that," she said laughing softly. "What game did you have in mind, Nymphadora? Oh, and as for my attitude..." Zoe gave the girl a playful smirk, "it's a part of me, and I won't make excuses for who I am or apologize if I offend someone with it. In other words... deal with it."
